God, we know that this baby is in heaven with you but we're painfully grieving the loss here on earth. It seems unfair and it's devastating, but I pray that you would continue to wrap your arms around us as we cry, mourn, and remember the life of this precious child.
Lord, guide us through these dark times and give us peace and comfort. Bring hope to my sorrowful heart with your kindness and help me understand that I am not in control of the things happening around me. Allow me to trust in your ways and help my spirit not go astray.

Heaven Instead will assist with expenses for the burial or cremation of a fetal demise for those who meet the following criteria:
- Delivery of stillborn, or fetal death occurring after 20 weeks of pregnancy
- Must be able to provide proof of Texas Residency (valid Texas ID)
- Must be able to provide proof of Hardship
- Fetal death occurring after delivery but within the hospital stay. Death may be due to premature delivery of non-viable infant, known congenital abnormality preventing extra-uterine life, or obstetric emergency during labor or delivery of infant resulting in death.
To request assistance, simply fill out the online form using your smart phone or computer device.
What happens next if I am approved?
By submitting an application, you are allowing Heaven Instead representatives to speak with hospital staff and funeral home directors on your behalf.
Please understand that assistance amount varies. We can not guarantee full payment for services selected. If we are unable to offer assistance in the full amount, you are required to pay your portion first and Heaven Instead will make the final payment. A copy of the final contract must be received prior to our payment being processed.
Heaven Instead can not reimburse families for expenses already paid to a funeral home.
Heaven Instead is not responsible for services provided by the funeral home. All arrangements should be made with a funeral director and questions regarding services provided should be directed to the funeral home and cemetery staff.
What happens next if I am approved?
- Notification from Heaven Instead with assistance amount
- Heaven Instead contacts funeral home listed on request form
- Family makes final arrangements with Funeral Director
- Heaven Instead receives signed contract from Funeral Home
- Payment submitted directly to Funeral Home

Despite our unwavering attempts at creating a stable and consistent donor base, funding has become increasingly challenging, and we now face a significant deficit that threatens our ability to keep functioning.
During this pause in our mission, we will work diligently to improve our processes. Our goal is to secure a more consistent donor base, learn more about government grants, and bring others on board who care about our mission as much as we do. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our supporters, volunteers, and benefactors who have stood by us through thick and thin. Your unwavering belief in our cause and your generous contributions have fueled our efforts and inspired us to make a difference every day.
